Some facts about coffee

* The name coffee comes from the Arabic word qahwah, meaning wine, and not from the town of Kaffa, in Ethiopia (Abyssinia), as many writers have supposed.

* There are twenty-four steps in the “Coffee Process”.

* Our knowledge of coffee is about 1,000 years old.

* Coffee was first mentioned in literature by Rhazes, an Arabian physician.

* It takes 40 coffee beans to make an espresso.

Well this is how it looked.

It was a camera that didn’t use any film to capture still images – a camera that would capture images using a CCD imager and digitize the captured scene and store the digital info on a standard cassette. It took 23 seconds to record the digitized image to the cassette. Image how frustrating that would have been
